As an engineer, you're constantly bombarded with new information and ideas, and you need to communicate effectively to share your findings and build relationships with others. Even the most experienced engineers can fall into communication traps that hinder their work. We'll explore some of the most common pitfalls, how to avoid them, and tips for communicating effectively with your team and other engineers.
As an engineer, you may be used to working behind the scenes and letting your work speak for itself. But if you want to get ahead in your career, promoting yourself and your work is important. By self-promoting, you can build a name for yourself and demonstrate your expertise to potential employers or peers. Here are some tips on how to get started.
Do you have a goal that feels impossible to achieve? Are you struggling to make progress on your vision? It's time to take action and learn how to achieve your goals and vision. In this class, we'll share steps to reach your goals.
Have you ever been in a situation where you wanted to make a change or present an idea but felt like you didn't have the authority to do so? By building relationships and crafting a persuasive argument, you can get others on board with your ideas and make progress toward your goals.

It's no secret that engineers have some of the most in-demand skill sets in the world. If you're like many engineers, you may be wondering how to find your dream job. It's tough to know where to start. We'll explore the Tech Lead vs. Management routes and how to find the perfect job for you!

The weekly, 45-min group sessions are for you to work on weekly topics with the support of the EXA Founders, Jean and Soyoung. Groups are kept small (5-8 people) to maximize your time together. Come to the sessions with questions related to the live sessions, work, or life in general.
Sessions meet on Tuesdays at 10 AM PT or 6 PM PT (on your choice of session time).
On Mondays, start your week by sharing your intentions and goals for the week and three things you feel grateful for from the past week. Studies show that expressing gratitude brings positive emotions, improves your health, and helps you build stronger relationships. We’ll all be there to support you and help you stay accountable for your own goals.
You can't afford to be left behind in an ever-evolving world. Weekly conversations with the EXA Founders and members give you the tools for serious career growth. Take advantage of this powerful knowledge.
Feel the fear of failure melt away with a knowledgeable engineering manager by your side, ready to offer expert guidance without hidden agendas. Harness their wisdom and experience at Founders' Q&A sessions to maximize the potential for success!

I’ve been working in tech for the past 20 years as an engineer, an engineering manager, and a team-builder. I was the 19th engineer at WhatsApp and worked with Facebook as an Engineering Manager for six years after the $19B acquisition.
Over time, I started to see a pattern: talented, hardworking people getting left behind—not because they weren’t capable, but because they didn’t have access or guidance. Now, I build tools, videos, and resources to help people navigate AI, and what’s next.
As a successful coach and mother of four, I feel called to help people secure their brightest futures. With Exaltitude, my trainings provide an inspiring mix of goal planning strategies, productivity techniques and leadership development insights — helping fellows tap into the power they have deep within themselves. In rare moments away from work or family life you can find me reading or whipping up some pescetarian keto deliciousness — not bad for someone who's first job was in a startup in 2000!
